I was lucky to be chosen as Freelance Design Lead by the company notonthehighstreet.com to help them develop their Christmas pop-up shop. My role was to deliver A to Z the brand’s activation space working closely with senior copy-writers and reporting directly to the ECD.

I delivered a 360 shopping experience inclusive of storytelling interactive touchpoint and shareable photo moments.

The task was to bring the gin shop back to the streets of central London and in doing so create the ultimate festive retail destination for any gin lover.

The store was located in the heart of the capital on Piccadilly; consisting of an extensive range of gins, many exclusive to the store, alongside a host of accessories, a bar and masterclass event space. 

I was responsible for the art direction, store look & feel, drafts creation, input on consumer journey and floorplan, support on visual merchandising and in-store signs and communications. Working closely with the client’s creative team, production experts on the choice of materials, colours and textures. I managed multiple freelancers during this process including 3D visualisers.

I was lucky to be chosen as Freelance Design Lead by the company notonthehighstreet.com to help them develop their physical presence at Fearne Cotton’s - Happy Place summer festivals. My role was to deliver A to Z the brand’s activation spaces working closely with senior copy-writers and reporting directly to the ECD.

I delivered a bespoke (designed from scratch) branded festival collapsable shop filled with interactive brand activations and lots of display areas to showcase their products. And a teepee that was used as masterclass area.

Working closely with the show director and CD, I was the lead designer responsible for the look and feel of the show.

WE DESIGNED A BEER TRUCK - FROM SCRATCH!!

Born in a barrel, the Scottish brand create beer like no other – with a relentless focus on innovation, craftmanship and quality it’s not just their beer that’s full of character but their stories too. In celebration of the craftmanship we wanted to take the brewery on tour and let the beer speak for itself.

The Innis & Gunn truck travelled round the country, visiting fantastic festivals to showcase the stories of the brand and perfectly pour a range of beers, allowing visitors to see and taste the craft.

I was responsible for the creative concept and overall look & feel, working closely with the production team to ensure the choice of materials, barrel design and finishes were transferrable into the finished product.

As Design Lead I managed 3D visualisers and a junior designer on this project and am extremely proud at how close the original designs are to the finished article as it showcases my ability to work across teams to fully develop concepts.

DISCIPLINE: Idea and Concept Creation, Research and Look & Feel.

The Mostra – a unique bar experience designed in collaboration with artist Mark McClure. The installation was inspired by the effect of light in a cocktail; the transparency of colour, the shifting light and the translucent effect of liquid within the glass. Guests were immersed in this constantly shifting environment as they explored the installation with the finest Campari cocktails and attended Campari Creates Lecture Series featuring talks from Mark McClure, designer Tom Dixon and Roberta Cremoncini of the Estorick Gallery.

My role for this project was purely conceptual. The vision was to create an immersive environment, in collaboration with an artist, to make visitors feel like they are stepping in to a piece of art. From this vision we worked to secure the artist Mark McClure who created this breathtaking bar.

100% Optical is today the largest optical event in the UK. I had the privilege of designing the Creative Campaign to advertise the show and all the key visuals to create the show entire Identity, collaterals and print & digital assets.

100% Optical is being advertised on several national and international magazines and websites.

LE Miami is a trade show for the luxury & contemporary traveI industry. Every year the show gets a new campaign and look & feel. For this edition I was the design lead. I designed the visual ID,  look & feel, print and digital graphic design assets and key visuals, signage and wayfinding.

We were tasked to develop a co-branded partnership activation for Hovis, Paramount Pictures and Sherlock Gnomes Film that drives awareness of both the film and the product promotion - to be executed at the film premier and as a public roadshow. 

With a bit uncover snooping we learned that the nation’s favourite sleuth had in fact been a bit of a bread lover so we thought we’d pay homage to this and create Baker(y) St. A theatrical brand experience and sampling activation complete with oversized Gnomes, giant toad stalls, SM connected photo-booth and cheese toasties to die for. 

My responsibilities on this project included; brand activation design outputs and overall activation look & feel. We merged Hovis and Paramount Sherlock Gnomes visual assets together and use them harmoniously according to the ‘Bakery Street’ creative concept.

Grom’s slogan says it all. “Gelato, as it once was.” Grom is a very modern business, making gelato with the precision and respect of yesteryear; fabulous ingredients, trusted recipes, elegant design and passion for a craft. Having conquered most of Italy and popped in a handful of other major cities across the globe the brand announced its arrival in the UK with a flagship store on Piccadilly.

We were tasked with creating a high impact press launch as well as building and running a summer long mobile gelateria on Maltby St to seduce London’s foodies. 
We organised a procession of fully Grom branded iconic Fiat 500’s parading in front of Piccadilly’s landmarks to signal Groms arrival at it’s new flagship location.

Working with the account director and the accounts team, I developed the concept of a Fiat 500 parade as the symbol of the Italians arriving to London to bring us delicious and traditionally made gelato. The design side of the work included creating beautiful patterns using Grom’s illustration assets to be applied to the cars with each car representing a different gelato flavour. The centrepiece of the parade had the pattern hand-painted by an artist.

“About Last Night…” was created to be an overarching brand for our Supper Club events. The name implies there’s something to say, a tale to share; in short the “story” of mealtimes. 

Taking this creative idea to its natural progression we sought inspiration from the literary/print world and led with a strong typographical style. To this we added a sophisticated and sumptuous palette that feels entirely appropriate for an evening event.

I worked as a solo designer on this project, finding the perfect name, designing the logo and creating the brand identity. This branding was featured on social communications (event pages and social media posts) and menus at each event.

In collaboration with Time Out London we designed and organised a sampling activation in strategic areas of London to promote and distribute Magnum’s new ice cream product, Magnum Tubs.

For the occasion, Time Out London changed its header into ‘Time In’ as the campaign advertised the 9pm ‘sofa moment’ as the best time to enjoy the product.

I was part of the team that generated this creative concept and was responsible for all graphic outputs, which included the marketing collateral, branded merchandise and sampling stand. I managed a junior designer throughout this process.

For this project we were asked to raise brand awareness amongst a younger target audience and to introduce Bottle Green new campaign; “for the curious”.

Bottlegreen became the official soft drink partner of Festival No.6 at Portmeirion, where our bespoke airstream ‘travelling garden bar’ served a range of sparkling infused drinks. 

We designed a beautiful refreshing zone inspired by Bottlegreen new colourful visual assets. The zone included a stylish airstream bar for visitors to purchase drinks, seating areas to relax in and a branded tricycle that distributed product samples. The whole area was designed to look like a colourful garden with impactful giant flowers and graphics from the brand new campaign.

As the lead of the creative team and I was responsible for every graphic and the look & feel output. I was assisted by an other graphic designer who I mentored and managed during my employment.

We were approached to create an engaging experience at Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre to introduce consumers to the world of Propel Star Wars Drones and promote the collector’s range.

The Propel Star Wars experience showcased the whole collector’s range and encouraged visitors to engage with the product by training them on Propel’s virtual platform and later giving them the chance to fly the drones and battle with one another.

I was responsible for the design of the space and consumer journey, as well as designing the whole graphic pack which included; web banners, social media posts, screen graphics, staff uniforms and event collateral.
Throughout this project I managed a junior designer.

100% Design is the UK's largest and longest-running trade event for architects and designers.

My role involved the creation of the concept, key visual, show signage design, show installation and all the digital and print materials of the campaign.

The show has being advertised on several national and international design magazine and websites.

FUSE is the first African un-conference for the travel Industry. I was asked to design the event logo, event brand identity, look & Feel, signage, uniform, event collaterals and the main stage.

PURE Pursuits are focus groups that bring together the leading minds in travel and related industries for a truly heart-pounding adventure, designed to spark ideas and connections on a level never experienced before.

To help our PUREists to spark ideas we designed a Matches Box with 12 Conversation Cards and 3 Wild Cards (empty cards). I was coupled with a Copy Writer to come up with the concept and design.

THE CREATIVE CLASS LAB is part of LE Miami travel show. It’s printed yearly. The main topic of the collection is Travel trends. In collaboration with copy writes, I was challenged to design volumes of the book collection.

LIVE AT 100% DESIGN is the tag-line I gave to this pitch for 100% Design. The idea was to use designer products combined with every-day object to represent the concept of living at 100% Design.

100% Optical is now the largest optical event in the UK, bringing together over 8,000 professionals to learn, network and discover the latest products, technologies and solutions on an international stage. The show tag-line for this show was: ‘The Only London Optical Event’ and I was asked to develop a key-visual to reflect the following key-words: London, eyewear fashion and style.
